Things and food in time and space

October 7th, 2008

I’ve been moving into my new space the last week or so.  A handful of copies of the new disc are out to press and stores, and I have yet to get the rest out.  I finally got to the point today where my recording stuff is set up and ready for when inspiration hits.  My project table is set up and ready for more CD assembly.  I just need to get the kitchen to where I can eat–a lesser priority.

Speaking of inspiration hitting–I’m quitting my night job, and probably my day job too, in favor of a full-time weekend job, delivering pizzas in Minneapolis.  I’ll have Mon-Wed all to myself to do whatever the fuck I feel like doing, which will most likely be recording, building guitars, and sleeping until 1 p.m.  Plus my commute time will go from a total of about 60 miles to about 3 miles.

60 to 3 is a great improvement. That should make life way better. We ain’t as young as we used to be. Gratuitous traveling ain’t as fun anymore.

How many guitars have you made?

Hey yo, my old site is back up and running. There’s a slide show of fricking Paris there. You might get a kick out of the old Sanaphay shots and whatnot (but the names are not labeled as such, for privacy).

Remember when that organization gyped us on our Paris tix? If I had ever actually gotten them, I woulda given both to you and said go with someone else. As you know, I would have had to sleep under a bridge by the Seine had I actually gone.

By the way I subscribed to this blog’s posts and comments in Google Reader. Best. Feed reader. Ever. Cuts down on my reading time even while doubling my information ingestion rate. They should call it Feed Bag. Just strap that shit to your face and start chewing.

I’ve made 0 guitars so far. It’s going pretty slow! I’m just trying to figure shit out now. I do have a workspace now.

I’ll check out all your links when I have more than 10 minutes at my computer! Bla.

No rush. Check out the job lead first. It might be worth the glance.
